Ciao, sono Shari!

Negli ultimi anni, e dopo aver scritto venticinque romanzi rosa, ho scoperto una profonda passione per la storia, in particolare per la seconda guerra mondiale. Dopo aver dato vita alla serie Last Words, ho deciso che "il passato" è il posto in cui devo essere.

 

Se ti è piaciuta la serie Last Words, assicurati di dare un'occhiata a Last One Home, pubblicato il 22 marzo 2021. Questo libro si concentra su un'infermiera americana ebrea che sopravvive alle probabilità di Pearl Harbor e della seconda guerra mondiale. In un momento in cui le donne non erano viste come uguali, ho avuto un forte desiderio di evidenziare le donne che hanno fatto la differenza in quel periodo.

The Family Behind the Walls: Absolutely heartbreaking and gripping World War Two fiction- My great-grandfather was murdered in a gas chamber upon arrival at Auschwitz. He died from Zyklon B poisoning. His body was thrown into a pile with countless others and taken to the crematorium, where all that remained of him was reduced to ash. Why? Because he was Jewish. A question has haunted me as I grew up and tried to piece together my family’s history: What was it all for? This question became the driving force behind my writing of The Family Behind the Walls. I wondered if, by the end of the story, I might find an answer. And I did.
